Colorado Swing Big Band performs an exciting variety of great music including classic Big Band Era standards as well as popular Broadway and Las Vegas show style arrangements.  Our full-size big band creates that exciting sound that you rarely hear anymore.

We also have a smaller version of the big band that has the music, style and excitement that you expect, easily fits on to a smaller stage and may be just the right size for your venue.

We feature the area's top musical talent including great vocalists. Our arrangements feature the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Harry James, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, Les Brown, George & Ira Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter, Patsy Cline, Buddy Rich, Brian Setzer, Gordon Goodwin and many others.

Colorado Swing is available for your fundraiser, wedding, dance, summer festival or special event.  We have a large library of great music and can customize the music of our performance to the theme of your event. We have your favorite songs, optional vocals, background music, Latin, Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango dance styles, Big Band Swing favorites and popular contemporary music.

A small ensemble is available to perform easy listening background music or energetic cocktail music on the stage preceding the Big Band dance portion of your event.  This is a great option for the silent auction part of your fundraiser and when guests are arriving or dining at your event.  I can play recorded background music during cocktails, dinner, and breaks at no extra charge.  Please let me know the city of your event, so I can estimate any travel costs. There are no travel costs for Fort Collins and Loveland area performances.

Special dates like Valentines Day or weekend, St. Patrick's Day, Saturday weddings during the Summer, Fourth of July, December Christmas parties or New Years Eve require sufficient advance notice and commitment. We are booking events well into next year, so if you are considering us for your next event please call now to have us hold that date while we work in the details.  We offer discounts for local fundraisers for qualified non-profit organizations and will strive to work within your event budget.  Many non-profit organizations have been successful in obtaining music sponsors in order to cover the cost of the band.

We do not provide stages, stage lighting, decoration, catering, and party equipment rental services. Most venues already have stages, dance floors and stage lighting available. We can put you in touch with contractors who provide these services if you need them. The band provides its own music stands and music stand lights and can perform under all lighting conditions.  Outdoor performances require a tent, mobile stage, or pavilion to protect the band from the rain and sun. 

Sound reinforcement is needed for announcements, solos, vocals, and an over all well balanced sound.  We can provide this service for you for a very low cost for most indoor venues and some outdoor events.  If you want to contract your own sound reinforcement services, I will be happy to send them the technical requirements and work with their sound engineers.  We carry General Liability Insurance coverage for our performances at no extra charge.
